2) From any browser, using the Google search bar - Type in "Internet speed test" and it will immediately help you to check your internet speed by following the prompts. 

After you finish the speed test, you’ll see a set of numbers in the results: one is your upload speed and the other is your download speed. Understanding the differences between these two speeds is essential in making the best choice of internet service you need based on the things you like to do online.  

Upload Speed vs. Download Speed

Download speed is the speed at which information travels from a remote location on the internet to your internet-connected device. For example, if you are using your computer to watch a shared video from another user, your download speed would be the rate at which the information needed to load the video and travels from the platform server to your computer.

Upload speed is the opposite. It is the speed at which information travels from your internet-connected device to a remote location on the internet. This number is especially critical when uploading a video to the ADVANCE platform. If your upload speed number is small and you are trying to upload a large file, expect there will be a much longer wait time.

Understanding the internet upload speed will help you to have a realistic expectation and time management allowance to complete uploading a video on the ADVANCE platform. For example, if you have a 500mb video file, and the upload speed is 5mbps, it will be approximately 10+ minutes for the video to upload.  You can also use an UPLOAD time calculator to estimate the time requirements. Other factors should be considered, such as if additional devices are using the same bandwidth will affect the actual upload time.
